Did you know how simple it is to make your own coffee creamer? It's also better for you with less ingredients than your average store-bought creamer. Here's my recipe for butterscotch coffee creamer, so yummy and as Jared's Paula Deen impression would say, "Butter, y'all!"
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp. butter extract
1/4 tsp. salt
1. In a medium saucepan, mix brown sugar and water and heat to boil, then simmer for 5 minutes. Keep a close eye on it as it can boil over easily.
2. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
