A festive fall breakfast recipe that requires minimal prep and clean up! In as little as 15 minutes, you'll have a family favorite that you can personalize with icing, fruit, powdered sugar, syrup, or whatever else your heart desires.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
3 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Add 1 tbsp butter into cast iron pan and put in oven to warm as oven preheats.
2. Mix all ingredients (it will have some lumps, that's ok) and pour batter into hot pan, bake for 13-15 minutes or until top is golden brown.
3. Add toppings of your choice (powdered sugar, fruit, icing, etc.) and enjoy! Puffy pancake will deflate as it cools so make sure your family is around to marvel as it comes out of the oven.
