FAQ
Goat's Milk Soap + Lotion
Are all of your soaps and lotions made using goat's milk?
Yes, we take pride in every batch of both soap and lotion being made with goat's milk sourced from right here on our farm.
Is your soap and lotion safe to use on sensitive skin?
We use ONLY natural, organic ingredients with goat's milk that is nourishing to your skin. For our scented products, we use essential oils, NOT synthetic fragrance oils. If you are concerned about the essential oil scents irritating your skin, we have an unscented soap bar of soap as well as Honey + Oatmeal soap that is unscented and contains local honey with colloidal oatmeal. We also have an unscented lotion option.
What quality of ingredients are used in your soaps and lotions?
We use fresh goat's milk that is hand milked right on our farm.
Each batch of soap and lotion is comprised of responsibly sourced, all-natural oils blended together.
No harsh chemicals are ever added.
For our colored bars of soap, we use mica, a natural stone mineral that is ground into a powder.
Any extra added ingredients are completely natural and organic.
We make all of our products in small batches to ensure the best quality possible.
What is the shelf-life of your soaps and lotions?
Although they may last longer, we recommend using the soap within 6 months and lotion within 4 months due to the products containing milk. They do not need to be refrigerated but should be kept in a cool location away from direct sunlight. Due to using natural essential oils, over time the scent will lessen. This is normal!
What's your most popular soap?
Honeysuckle is hands down our best seller.
Will the soap and lotion melt if stored at high temperatures?
The soaps are stable and will not melt up to 100°F. The lotion will melt in high temperatures - just simply stir and let cool and it will return to its normal consistency.
Can I purchase your soap in bulk?
We offer bulk pricing when you buy our soap by the loaf (click here) as well as custom soap loaves that allow you to choose color/scent (click here). Wholesale options are also available for interested retailers. Contact us for more information.

We also love to do custom gift baskets for special occasions like birthday/anniversary presents, house closing gifts, etc. for Brunswick County locals!
Sourdough Starter
What are the ingredients of your sourdough starter?
Unbleached all-purpose flour and filtered water, that's it!
How do I rehydrate my starter once I receive it?
Rehydrating starter only takes a few days and is as easy as adding more flour and water and mixing it in. Instructions for BOTH rehydration and maintenance are included, printed, with your purchase. And as always, you can contact us with any questions along the way.
Will I need anything special to get started once I order the starter?
Just make sure you have unbleached flour, water, and a jar (pint or quart size would work best).
