Dehydrated Sourdough Starter - Rehydration and Maintenance Instructions

Ingredients: unbleached all-purpose flour, filtered water

1 packet contains 10 grams of dried sourdough starter. After you rehydrate this sourdough starter, you’ll be able to make your very own loaves of sourdough bread right at home! Instructions for rehydrating the dried starter and how to maintain your sourdough starter are included when you purchase a packet of dehydrated starter! Spoiler: maintaining the starter is even easier than rehydrating it!

My sourdough starter was created in 2020 and has been fed exclusively unbleached all-purpose flour since. It is very strong, can handle a missed feeding or two, and can go up to 2 weeks untouched in the refrigerator if you’re not baking frequently. My starter has fed our family many loaves of delicious bread and has also been included in MANY recipes using the discard (cinnamon rolls, cornbread, pancakes, pizza crust, and much more).

Starter will be shipped in reusable/sealable paper packets.
